What will you do?

As Head Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounting and financial administration of our Bulgarian organisation. You will work independently, while also being part of the wider international Schavemaker organisation.

Your responsibilities include:

– Managing and maintaining the financial administration;

– Preparing financial reports and supporting period-end and year-end closing;

– Ensuring correct and timely accounting procedures;

– Managing administrative and accounting processes;

– Working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision);

– Working extensively with Microsoft Excel for reporting, analysis and financial controls;

– Supporting the organisation with financial and administrative questions;

– Identifying opportunities to improve financial and administrative processes;

– Cooperating with colleagues within the Schavemaker Group.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

– Has a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field;

– Has at least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience;

– Has a good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision);

– Has strong Microsoft Excel skills;

– Has a very good command of English, both written and spoken;

– Is accurate, organised and able to work independently;

– Has a proactive and problem-solving mindset;

– Is comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions;

– Experience within transport and logistics is an advantage.
